Deep dive into the user portal
The Vault
Pre-requisite :
- At least one member from your organization must initialize the vault before any end user from a tenant can use it.
- Make sure you are running the latest app version (4.0.0 or higher).
- If you are an admin using the vault before 09/15/2025, please refer to this article. here
Access the Portal
- Open Multi-Pass Portal
- Log in to your account and select the appropriate tenant.
- From the left-hand menu, click on Applications.
Applications Dashboard
When you click on My application, you can see on the left side, Passwordless SSO, Passkeys and Passwords.
Clicking on each allow you to see all the applications that are Passwordless, passkeys or with passwords.
the main view of your screen shows you the different categories you have set up especially if you have created folders in our case :
Passwordless SSO – Applications integrated with Multi-Pass for passwordless authentication.
Favorites – Your pinned applications.
Work Applications – Applications related to your work account. (Folder created)
- You can develop or reduce the different section to make easier to read.
- It is also possible to change the view from icon to list by clicking on the symbol at the of the page.
- To help manage your list, you can use the filter button (to the left of the blue Add Item button). Filters include:
- Most recent
- Folder (A–Z or Z–A)
- Name (A–Z or Z–A)
- Each application tile includes a menu with three vertical dots. By clicking it, you can perform actions such as:
- Edit
- Share
- Delete
Organizing Applications
All your saved applications are grouped inside your vault. If you click on the Password tab, you will only see applications stored with credentials (username + password).
You can create folders to organize your vault. By default, there is an Uncategorized folder. Use folders to separate work applications, personal applications, or other categories to keep your portal organized. (Folders are user-specific and do not affect other members of your tenant.)
- To create a folder click on "add a folder"
- Enter the name and click on "create Folder"
Adding a Password-Based Application
- When you click on Add Item, a pop-up window will appear to add a password.
- This allows you to register an application whose authentication is done with a username and password.
- You will be asked to provide:

| Name | Application name (e.g., GitLab) |
| Folder | Select destination folder (e.g., Work Applications) |
| Username | Username used to log in to the application |
| Site Password | Strong password (generated if desired; respect app length/complexity limits)

You don’t need to remember the password. You can generate one and adjust the length, but make sure it complies with the application’s password requirements.
You will also see options for:
- Auto Login – When enabled, the browser extension will take you to the application’s site and automatically fill in your credentials.
- Autofill – Automatically pastes the credentials into the login form, avoiding manual copy-paste.
- Once all fields are completed, click Add Password.
- If required you can edit the password you have created :
- Click Save changes
Password Vault Initialization
- When accessing Applications
- Password, you may need to initialize your vault.
- If your device has not been onboarded, a QR code pop-up will appear to complete onboarding.
- In My Applications, you must unlock your vault to view stored passwords.
Import your password
- Now, you are in the Vault you can import your passwords or add them one by one by clicking on "Add Item"
- In order to import password click on "import Passwords"
- A pop up will appear, with different source, select the one you need
- On the next window, you can download a CSV template you can use to add the passwords and upload the file you can export from your source.
- You will see the list from the file uploaded, click on "Import Passwords"
Security Overview
- The Security section of the portal provides an overview of the credentials you have stored. It evaluates the strength of your passwords. You can quickly identify weak or reused passwords.
- From here, you can update and improve them to enhance security.
