Vault – Import Your Edge Passwords
This documentation provides everything you need to get the most out of your Vault.
Importing Passwords from Edge into Your Vault
This guide explains how to export your saved passwords from Google Chrome and import them into your Vault.
Step 1 – Export Your Passwords from Edge
Open
Microsoft Edge
.
In the address bar, type:
edge://settings/passwords
Or click the three dots

Settings
, click on
Password and autofill
.
And then click on
Microsoft password manager
In the saved passwords section, click the
(⋮)
menu
Choose
Export passwords
.
Confirm by clicking Export, then authenticate with your Windows password or Windows Hello.
Edge will generate a .csv file (e.g., Passwords.csv).
You can also do it manually by exporting the .csv file from the password manager options.
Make sure the exported file respects the format shown in Step 2.
Step 2 – Verify the File Format
Open the downloaded file.
Make sure the file extension is
.csv
or
.json
Confirm the structure matches:
name / url / username / password / note
If needed, adjust the structure before importing.
Step 3 – Import Your Passwords into Your Vault
Open Multi-Pass Portal
Click on
Application
.
Unlock your vault (authenticate yourself).
In the left menu, click
Password
.
Click
Import Password
.
In the browser list, select Edge.
Click the
blue icon
to upload your file.
Choose the exported
.csv
or
.json
file.
Click Import file
Your saved passwords will appear in the vault.
To edit or delete a password, click the three dots (⋮) on the right of an entry.
After editing, click Save.
