Registering Your Multi-Pass Biometric Card as a Passkey

In this document, you will learn how to add your Multi-Pass Biometric Card as a passkey to your Multi-Pass Passwordless account.
Notes
Important: Please make sure you have activated your Multi-Pass Card by enrolling your biometrics and setting a PIN before following this process.

Option 1 – Using your work station

  1. Open Multi-Pass Portal

  1. Click on My Credentials.

  1. In the top-right corner, click Add New Credential.
  1. A new window will open — this starts your onboarding flow for passwordless setup.
  2. Click Get Started.
  3. Select Multi-Pass Card.
  1. If you have an internal or external NFC reader, click Yes, Continue.
  2. You’ll reach Step 2 of 2:
    1. If your biometric data is already enrolled on your card, click Yes, I’ve already set up my card.
    2. If not, click you will need to reach this article and do the enrollment, click here
  3. Click on Continue to NFC

  1. Select Security Key as your method.
  1. Tap your card on your NFC reader to link it to your account.
  2. A confirmation box will appear — you can rename your registered card here.
  3. Return to the My Credentials page to confirm your new Biometric Card appears in the list.

Option 2 – Using your mobile app

  1. On your phone, open your mobile app
  2. On the right top corner, select +Add Account

  1. In the the tenant section, add your tenant
  2. Click on Continue
  3. Click on login and follow the steps
  4. in the section Do you have a Multi-Pass biometric card, click on Continue

  1. Now you can tap your card on the back of your phone 
  2. When it is done, you will see a success screen


Notes
The registration on mobile may take slightly longer than with an external NFC reader. During Step 6, ensure you keep your card against the phone throughout the validation.
If prompted, enter your PIN and repeat the process.

Ensure your NFC reader (phone or external) is properly connected before starting.
You can register multiple credentials (cards or keys) for backup and flexibility.
