Add your Card to your Multi-Pass Account
In this document, you will learn how to add your Multi-Pass Card as a passkey to your Multi-Pass Passwordless account.
NOTE: Please make sure you have activated your Multi-Pass Card by enrolling your biometrics and adding a PIN prior to following this process. If required, refer to
this article.
Option 1 - Using your Computer and an NFC Reader (suggested method)
1. First, login to your Multi-Pass account on your computer by using your preferred login method
2. Once connected to your account, navigate to Account Security > Signing in
3. Scroll down to the passwordless section and click on "Set up Passkey" (You might be asked to reauthenticate for security reasons)
4. Click on Register
5. On the browser pop up, Click on "Save another way" > Security Key
6. Follow the steps on the screen
Option 2 - Using your Mobile Phone
- On your phone, open a browser and navigate to your Multi-Pass User Portal
- Login using your preferred method (we suggest Multi-Pass Digital)
- If you are using Multi-Pass Digital, open the push notification and authenticate yourself
- Once completed, go back to your browser
- Navigate to Account Security > Signing In
- Scroll down to the Passwordless section and click on Set up Passkey > Register
- When you see a pop up on your phone, select Other Options > Security Key > Continue
- Bring your card close to the NFC reader on your phone and hold it steadily while keeping your finger on the biometric sensor
NOTE: The registration on the phone might take a little more time than on an external NFC reader. During step 6, please make sure you keep the card against the phone during the validation. If required, you might be asked to enter your PIN and repeat the process.
NOTE: In step 6 you might see a QR Code on your screen. Please ignore it and refer to the test to create a passkey with a security key.
