This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to import your saved passwords from Proton Pass into your KZero Vault.
Password Managers typically export passwords into unencrypted CSV files. It is important that you securely delete the CSV file after the completion of the import.
The CSV Headers when importing into KZero must be in the correct order with the correct case-sensitivity
KZero Vault – Importing Passwords from Proton Pass
Step 1 — Export Passwords from Proton Pass
Log into your Proton Pass account (Personal or Business).
In the bottom left corner click the gear icon and select Export
Select CSV as the file type and click Export
Insert your Proton Pass Password
The CSV will automatically download to your Downloads folder.
Step 2 — Add Your Proton Pass Passwords to the KZero Vault
Proton Pass will export the CSV into a format that KZero will not be able to interpret — it must be adjusted first.
Open the CSV file you downloaded from Proton Pass using a spreadsheet editor.
Modify the headers in Row 1 to exactly match the following format:
Once your CSV headers are correctly aligned, save the file.
Log into your KZero Portal.
Under Applications, select Passwords.
Click Import/Export Passwords and choose Import Passwords.
Select Proton Pass from the import options.
Upload your adjusted CSV file.
Confirm the fields display correctly in the preview, then click Import Passwords.
