Product Release Summary – What's New

The September 2025 release focuses on stability, security, and performance improvements across the Multi-Pass platform. It also enhances the Vault and password import experience for end-users, while introducing deeper monitoring and provisioning tools for administrators.


⚙️General improvements

  • Maintenance & infrastructure: Improved SCIM service dependencies for greater stability.
  • Security & reliability: Enhanced error handling and strengthened data validation throughout the system.
  • Performance: faster deployment queries, reduced dependency load, and improved fault tolerance.

🧑‍💼For end-users

  • Password imports: full bulk import support added for 1Password, Bitwarden, Dashlane, Keeper, LastPass, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Passbolt.
  • Vault experience: improved data mapping, error handling, and UI responsiveness when importing, editing, or managing credentials. Clearer messages and consistent visuals provide a smoother experience.
  • Mobile experience: refined onboarding with version checks and upgrade prompts, improved credential management via bottom drawers, better OTP numpad input, and more stable socket connections.
  • User interface: simplified navigation, improved folder and icon display, and a clearer “vault unavailable” screen for a cleaner user journey.
  • Browser experience: enhanced synchronization between the browser extension and the Multi-Pass Authenticator for seamless credential linking across devices.

📊For administrators

  • Dashboard: new integrations added (Vimeo, ZoomInfo, UKG), improved authentication visibility, device-level metrics, and detailed event time slicers for both user and admin activities.
  • SCIM & provisioning: SCIM server integrated directly into the dashboard, with new middleware endpoints for configuration management and improved feedback during setup.
  • Portal management: admin-based SAML setup via metadata import, refined onboarding redirections, and enhanced tracking of app usage across deployments.
  • Monitoring & reporting: new analytics on successful and failed authentications, per-organization usage metrics, and better dashboard resilience during external service outages.
  • Performance & stability: optimized API calls, fixed inconsistent onboarding flows, and improved UI rendering in the admin console.
