Product Release Summary – What's New

The March 2025 release focuses on stability improvements across the Dashboard and Mobile Authenticator, introduces new credential and device management features for end-users, and expands administrator capabilities with refined org and integration management.


⚙️ General improvements

  • Dozens of bug fixes in the Multi-Pass Authenticator app: smoother onboarding, more reliable QR code enrollment, better error handling, and resolved app crashes.
  • Dashboard fixes improve reliability: corrected headers, modal behaviour, sidebar consistency, autofill text styles, and integration page readability.
  • Authentication service updates: Keycloak KC26 adjustments, Nexus database upgrade, improved email layouts, and better input alignment.
  • Improved notification handling and feedback for device linking and push approvals.
  • New test coverage for Zoho Desk and Nextcloud SAML integrations.
  • Enhanced backend resilience with HA deployments, admin recovery guides, and updated logging.

🧑‍💼 For end-users

  • New “My Credentials” page to easily manage stored credentials.
  • Updated My Devices page with a clearer design and improved device management tools.
  • Improved app experience with restyled empty states, updated widgets for sign-in history and device management, and a new overview carousel.
  • Smoother interactions in the mobile app with gesture-friendly buttons, credential picker improvements, and support for multiple accounts.
  • Introduction of Decentralized Identity (DID) features:
    • DID support in push notifications and security key endpoints.
    • Ability to create and publish a DID in the mobile app, with a new section to manage them.
    • Rate limiting added to avoid spam and ensure smoother DID operations.

📊 For administrators

  • Expanded app and IdP integrations: major platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Workspace, GitHub, AWS, Atlassian, etc.) migrated to streamlined generic actions.
  • Dashboard now supports light mode across deployment IdP and application pages.
  • Improved organization and user management:
    • Better permission checks before managing org users.
    • More accurate error handling when adding existing users.
    • Admins can now be provisioned directly inside a deployment.
  • Deployment and org actions refactored for consistency with clearer status results.
  • Integration improvements and tests added for HaloPSA, TrendMicro, and Datadog.
