Product Release Summary – What's New

February 2025 brings many refinements to the Multi-Pass ecosystem. This release focuses on stability, a smoother mobile experience, and new tools for administrators to manage organizations, integrations, and users more effectively.


⚙️ General improvements

  • Stability fixes for the Multi-Pass Authenticator app: improved push notifications, better navigation, and fewer offline errors.
  • Dozens of dashboard fixes improve the interface (better spacing, cleaner headers, corrected navigation tabs, improved dropdowns, and smoother modals).
  • Updated onboarding and deployment pages: improved QR code handling, banners, and sidebar behavior.
  • Keycloak and middleware updated to the latest versions (KC26 migration, dependency updates, PostgreSQL tests).
  • Improved monitoring and logging, with more detailed events, human-readable timestamps, and SIEM trial integrations (e.g., FortiSIEM).
  • Security reinforced with updated images and refined configurations to control access per realm.
  • Documentation improvements: SIEM integration and quick start guides added.

🧑‍💼 For end-users

  • Push notifications redesigned with clearer details and an improved success screen.
  • New onboarding emails now include deployment names for more context.
  • “Recent Activity” and “My Devices” pages now display live data pulled directly from the backend.
  • Re-introduced PIN retry option for card-based push logins, ensuring smoother sign-in flows.
  • End-user portal now highlights favorite applications for quicker access.

📊 For administrators

  • New light mode added across all dashboard components, with a toggle for admins.
  • Improved organization and user management: admins can now add, delete, or update org users, assign roles, and manage welcome/onboarding emails more easily.
  • Integrations redesigned: applications, identity providers, and SIEMs now have their own dedicated sections with table views for easier navigation.
  • Expanded app integrations: MPAS tested as a third-party IdP with Microsoft Entra ID; new E2E coverage for integrations.
  • Support for auto-provisioned admins and easier deployment management within the organization tab.
  • Billing improvements: migration away from Stripe, with org-based billing and a refined subscriptions view.
  • Advanced research: PKI integration exploration (EJBCA, Entrust) for stronger enterprise use cases.
